Dona focuses on what it really means to embody the feminine aspect in the modern world. She guides women into their inner deep feminine wisdom through mindfulness of our feminine energy manifesting in our menstrual cycle. She also teaches how to take care of ourselves throughout our life stages and the different phases of our cycle and address issues related to fertility, pre-menstrual syndrome, irregular periods, mood swings, fatigue, low sex drive, and symptoms related to Menopause.
In this Women’s Immersion, you will learn practical tools, experience yoga and embodiment practices, and create a personalized plan that moves you towards loving your Self fully, fiercely, unapologetically.
Back to Basics: The Female Energy Cycle
Women have a unique body that supports life and creativity. In this session, we will go back to gaining a basic understanding of our bodies and our energy as we cycle through the phases of the month. We will learn how to live in harmony with this flow based on the perspectives of Traditional Chinese Medicine, hormonal health, and psycho-emotional well-being.

Flow Busters: Disturbances in your flow and how to curb them
The menstrual cycle is a reflective phenomenon. How we flow through our lives is mirrored by our monthly flow. If you are experiencing period pains, irregularities in flow, monthly fatigue, low sex drive, extreme mood swings and cravings, infertility, and menopause-related symptoms, your body is giving you information about what is disturbing your flow. Discover these major disturbances, their effects on the different phases of our cycle, and create a Personal Period Plan to get you back in your flow, both in life and in your cycle.

An Integrative Life Force Approach to Women’s Nutrition
Learning to live and eat according to our cycles is the foundation of our life force energy that allows us to express our Selves fully, fiercely, unapologetically. An Integrative Life Force Approach to Nutrition requires that we take a closer look at what truly nourishes us in our lives. In this session, we will look at the difference between primary and secondary food and what we can do to boost both while taking into consideration the different nutritional needs depending on where we are in our monthly cycle. Ignoring these needs leads to a less than optimal wellbeing and hormonal imbalances manifesting in painful periods, bloating, unregulated sugar and adrenaline, extreme mood swings, unmanaged weight and metabolism, and even more severe imbalances such as PCOS.

The Feminine Power of Receptivity
Rising expectations from modern women have not caused a shift in the role of women. Instead, these have caused an increase in the demands from women – as warriors in the workplace while remaining the primary homemaker and caregiver. As the center of the family and the community, women end up continuously giving without replenishing in order to fulfill expanding expectations. In this session, we will explore Receptivity, an important characteristic of the feminine aspect, and go into inquiry about what it feels like to receive and be received and to create from this receptive space, first in the body and in our daily lives.

Dona’s purpose is simple: to help you fall in love with yourself again fully, fiercely, unapologetically. She does this through Embodiment practices that awaken us through our bodies. These include Yoga focused on the inner energetic flow, Living Yin, dance and movement meditation and spontaneous music making. Dona gives special focus on Women-centered programs where she encourages embodying a feminine approach to women's well-being, minding our monthly flow and eating according to our cyclical nature. In Dona's classes, expect to expand perspective, explore different ways of inhabiting one’s body, and bring harmony to Self by skillfully navigating the oscillation between Yin and Yang. Her practical approach bridges age-old philosophy and new scientific developments with modern day living.
